Rachel - Founder & Head Coach
With over a decade of experience in fitness, performance coaching, and corrective movement, Rachel is the visionary behind GiR Fitness. Her extensive background includes certifications from BCRPA, ACE, Yoga Alliance, NASM, and the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI Level 3 Fitness, Junior, Power, Golf & Medical). She’s passionate about helping golfers, dancers, athletes, and everyday movers train smarter, move better, and feel stronger—on and off the course.
Her mission? To build a results-driven space where education meets movement, and where every client feels empowered to unlock their potential.

Golf Fitness and Power Assessment
Do you know your Physical Handicap?
The evaluation process aims to ascertain the presence of any potential power leakage, if applicable, by precisely identifying the strengths and weaknesses within a golfer's swing. This allows for the identification of specific areas requiring improvement, ensuring that training efforts are focused and efficient, no time is wasted. Evaluation includes upper body, core and lower body strength and power. In the end, we are also able to compare the results with tour player's average. To conclude the evaluation, you will have exclusive access to your customized exercise regime to bring home to practice, which will enable your body's ability to maximize its full potential.
Golf Fitness

Our goal here is to first discover any physical limitations in golfers through conducting a fitness assessment. With the result, we can improve any mobility, flexibility and strength weaknesses in a targeted manner. Because if we don’t test, it’s always a blind guess.

The unique program I’ve developed will help burn calories, boost metabolism and improve your overall health. A combination of strategic exercises and a healthy diet will have you in tip-top shape. In this program, we will use a variety of drills and training tools to make it fun and ecstatic!
Junior Program
Long Term Athletic Development
It is scientifically proven that the learning windows for juniors from age 4-6, 6-8, 9-12, and teenage years are all different. It is crucial for us to train their FMS and FSS to become a fully functional athlete before any sport specialization. Windows of trainability depends on growth velocity, prior experience, genotype, maturity, age, hormonal influence, strength and nervous system development, muscle fibre type differentiation. There are over 12 windows of trainability in our model.
Another critically important factor we consider is.. they must be HAVING FUN!!! We target junior training with specific exercises in a way that they won't even feel like it's hard work.
